I brought my Apollo City Pro 2022 in for a front tire replacement and brake tune up a few weeks ago. They provided quick and excellent service and I was able to pick up my scooter on the Saturday of a long weekend. Provided honest and fair pricing because they barely touched my brakes, just optimized the settings so they only charged 10% of a break maintenance fee. I had to bring my scooter in again a few days ago, this time to replace my rear tire... They had my scooter ready in a couple days and gave me 10% discount for being a return customer. After a new tire replacement they told me to take it easy to let the seal set in, everything is looking good so far on both tires. I don't have anyone to compare them to but I would say they have provided excellent service. ~ Tyrone P

Amazing service and can’t recommend this place enough for repairs and purchasing a scooter. They were very informative when we were purchasing a scooter and told us why and why not to get certain scooters, their own thoughts on it, and basically stood there giving lots of information the two days we went there to decide. Furthermore, their repair service is good- especially Sam and Amir. They were very knowledgeable about what’s wrong and what to do, turnaround time is fast for repairs, and the most impressive is twice I have had them do something custom for me which was make a dog leash attachment for my scooter and attach a dog trailer to my scooter and they were able to figure out how to make it work! My husband and I bought our 2 Apollo e-scooters from ProMech a few weeks ago and we are completely satisfied and happy with our purchase. I did a lot of research and ProMech has very reasonable prices and great products compared to other places. Both Amir and Mac were honest and knowledgable and helped us find the best e-scooter to meet our needs and at a great price. They were patient, kind and very helpful. They even threw in 2 helmets for free (a value of about $115 each!!!). They let us zip around in the parking area to get a feel for the scooter and explained everything in detail. We have gone on our scooters a couple of times and love them!! Super fun and I feel very safe!! I totally recommend ProMech for anyone who would like to purchase an e-scooter. I ordered a Kukirin G2 escooter online on Promech website. It was promised that it will be delivered on or before June 18 but it didn’t come so I called their office and was told that they attempted to deliver it but apparently I wasn’t answering (maybe they’re referring to the home phone for the buzzer in the apartment because I didn’t receieve any call from them at any given time). I then offered to drive to their office and so I did and was warmly greeted by Rakim and showed me the box of the scooter. He offered to have it assembled so we waited for like half an hour and the thing was ready. My son who was with me was so ecstatic to see his new escooter. I also bought a helmet half the price and was refunded the delivery fee. I give their service a 5-star rating! ~ Ginalyn M

My Apollo Ghost had issues with the brake calliper and I was referred to ProMechBC. Let me tell you, I’m only coming back here for any issues with my e scooter going forward. I can confidentially say it was one of the best customer service experience I have had in my life! Easy transparent service that Mac and his team provides. Mac was always on point with communication with a smile. I expected to be charged way more than what my invoice was as the quality of service I received was so high. At this point the only way I could pay more is through spreading the word on how amazing Mac’s team is. :) thank you again! I recently bought an Apollo scooter second hand and after zipping my son to school and heading to work my back tired went flat ☹️ I called today they picked it up today and even recommended putting a solid tire on that won’t go flat! Didn’t even know that was possible 😁 plus I’ll have it back before the Monday morning school commute! I can walk to work but commute to my sons school, and having this new to me scooter has been awesome .I’m super happy with the right away pick up and that it’s going to be back to me soon. Most places have to send it away and it takes weeks! Highly recommend!!! Edit: Ended up the solid tire wasn’t for me, could be for someone else thou, I messsged them and they changed it back no problem! Even had it done on rush so I’d have it for Monday morning commute! I went in recently to have my son's scooter repaired for a flat tire. Not only did Mac give me a new tire , he also detected and fixed a few other items on the Scooter that could have potentially caused a problem down the road. The part that impressed me the most is how caring and knowledgable Mac and his team is. The service is amazing. I was waiting for my turn and witnessed how he took the time and care with each person to explain and offer valuable advice. I had to return a week later as my son broke a piece on the scooter. Mac took me in right away and did not charge me for labour, just the small piece that came off. A hidden GEM in Vancouver for anyone needing to fix their scooter. Best in Vancouver for sure. Kudo's to Mac and team over at ProMechBC. Picked up my Dualtron Ultra 2 "Upgrade". First time dealing with ProMechBC and will have to commend them for have an extremely welcoming customer service. Amir and Sam worked hard in unpackaging the new scooter so that I can pick it up in a timely manner. Nice to have a local "one stop shop". The PEV world is simply going to get more and more mainstream. I'm already looking into purchasing an E bike from this shop. Mac truly expressed his knowledge regarding the strengths and weaknesses of products. Nothing is perfect and it's all about personal preference and requirements. The Dualtron Ultra 2 is a different beast to my Vsett 10+R and other E scooters I own. Having this shop in my neck of the woods is comforting to know that there is support. Mac...Thanks again!!! I had an amazing experience with ProMechBC! My escooter Ninebot G30 Max had been having issues with the motor, so I decided to bring it in for repair. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable from the start, explaining what needed to be done and offering me a fair estimate. They completed the repair in a timely manner, and when I picked up my escooter Ninebot G30 Max, it felt as good as new! The motor were working perfectly, and the motor controller was replaced without any hassle. I really appreciated their transparency throughout the process and the great customer service. Fantastic service, highly recommend this shop. They’re honest, friendly and knowledgeable. The costs are well within the range of what other shops charge for e-bike service. It all started on the phone, the tech offered me a solution to try and fix it at home, with a step by step *I was unfortunately unable to fix it myself, so I had to bring it in. Then even though they were busy, they didn’t make me feel rushed, they explained the process and the costs. They didn’t pressure me to do extra work just in case I had to send the bike back on warranty. Lastly, they nailed the estimated time and costs were spot on. It is a busy and smaller shop so you might want to call if you’re unsure on timing. Highly recommend this place ~ Sheldon B

100% recommended! I’ve brought my cargo e bike here a couple of times for general checkups, and the service and turnaround time are truly second to none. The prices are also very fair. There is simply no comparison to other local shops where you have to book far in advance, wait multiple days, and pay hundreds of dollars for the same service. Today I brought my bike in because the gears felt off after I changed the rear tire myself. They called me back just 10 minutes later and told me it only needed a couple of screws adjusted and the chain lubricated. The bike now feels good as new, and they did not even charge me for it. Fast, honest, and excellent service. I will definitely keep coming back. ~ Sabrina K

Amazing service… I turned into the parking lot without knowing what to expect, do not judge a book by its cover. You step in the door and they’re helpful from the get-go. Scooters everywhere. You can see they’re passionate about what they do. There were customers inside, there were people outside trying a new ebike, and getting set up with their folding unit with a baby carrier in it. Amir was super great, his communication was bang on the entire time my Scooter was there for servicing. They didn’t upsell or overcharge. In fact, they even tweaked a couple things on my Apollo City scooter that were not scheduled to be looked at. I can’t thank them enough and praise them enough for their attitude and service. *Updated as of June 9th, 2026* While my original issue was a lack of communication regarding the completion of repairs and whether it would be covered under warranty or not – ProMechBC made it right by acknowledging the gap in updates and repairing my scooter under their own internal warranty program. I am still shocked at the lack of service from the scooter brand, Apollo, and would not recommend them based on their terrible response of this situation. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone looking for a electric scooter to shop local and come here for exceptional service and quality repairs. I have no doubt if there is an issue, ProMechBC will make it right. If you’re talking to Amir or Mac, you’re in good hands. ~ Stephanie L

I've had some unfortunate luck with my scooter and e-bike + I have to say both Mac and Amir have been incredibly accommodating helping me to get back on the road as soon as possible. Not only that, there's been some fairly sophisticated fixes that being a DIY type of fella, the mirror + mike certainly know what they're doing. I would recommend anyone to give them a call and if you need something done quick efficiently. And do you want that customer experience where you're not treated as just another customer... I originally left a positive review after they replaced the tire on my Ninebot Max. The pricing was reasonable and the turnaround was quick. After riding it for a bit, I noticed a serious issue. My range dropped by roughly 50 percent; and the only change was the solid tire that was installed. At first, I was frustrated because this was not what I expected when I brought the scooter in for a simple tire replacement. So I updated my review to reflect the frustration I had with losing significant range. To their credit, the owner personally reached out after seeing my updated review and offered to switch the tire back to a pneumatic one at no additional cost. Mac acknowledged the issue and made it right. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a business handles them. In this case, the owner stepped up and resolved the problem properly, and I appreciate that. ~ Kurtis S

We had such a great experience at ProMec e-scooter shop. We bought a used scooter online and had no idea how to get it working, so we came in for help. Rakim was incredibly kind, patient, and friendly. He showed us exactly how to unlock and use the scooter, checked everything, and even tightened all the screws for us. There was nothing wrong with the scooter — we just didn’t know how to use it — and he still helped us without charging anything. He simply asked for a good review, which he truly deserves! Great shop and service, specially Amir. I wet around them two months ago, asking to change my hydraulic break to mechanical, bike wasn't purchased with them so I thought it will be now as in a lot of other ebike services. As it's cargo bike, they didn't had parts but said they are coming in month and they should get them. I had trip so when I come back I give them a call and they remembered my inquiry even after so much time past. I went and drop my bike, during setting up they saw my old rotor is also not great, they called and give all detailed prices. They where fast, helpful and really great experience servicing my bike there. Definitely recommend ~ George S

I have had my Segway ninebot for about two years during covid has become my primary way to commute to work , I am a hospital employee. I contacted Mac at Promechbc searching the net not knowing what to expect as this is the first repair and maintenance work my scooter got. I am very satisfied with the service repair and price. Mac is a very knowledgeable and reliable person my scooter got fix right away . I am more than pleased , I highly recommend, I feel lucky I found a great place to repair and service my scooter plus worry free as he came to pick up my scooter and deliver it. Truthfulness! If I talk about honesty, I want to take the name of "ProMechBC." I found this Mech company online and spoke with Mac (A team member). I informed them of my problem, and then he stated that if there is a problem with this E-Scooter, then it will be rectified as soon as possible and it will be returned to you, and if no problem is seen, then "General Service" will be done and get it back without any cost. And the other day, I got a phone call that there was no problem and I would not have to pay any service charges. I was very impressed by their honesty. i’ve been strongly recommending this place for anyone in vancouver who’s looking into buying an e-scooter. Mac & co. were very knowledgeable about the different models of scooter on the market and the logistics for repairing/maintaining them. i’d gone to them originally for a repair for a scooter I’d bought at a department store, and i felt they were very honest explaining my options for repair - unfortunately i did end up needing to get a new scooter, and Mac was very helpful giving the pros and cons of the refurbished models within my budget. I’ve had my new (refurbished) scooter for several months with no issues, and I feel confident that I could go back to ProMech when inevitably it comes time to replace the battery or tires. I only wish I’d known about this place when I was researching for my first scooter purchase, as I could’ve saved money in the long run. Mac knows what’s up!!! ~ Lucy F

Great service for my Segway GT2 I took my Segway GT2 in to have the brake pads replaced, and they recommended upgrading to ventilated brake pads. The difference is amazing—much better braking performance and no overheating, even on longer rides or at higher speeds. Alejandro did an excellent job—very fast, professional, and with great attention to detail. He also speaks Spanish, which helped me a lot to understand everything clearly and feel more confident about the service. The team was knowledgeable and friendly, and they gave me useful tips for maintenance. I’ll definitely come back for future upgrades or repairs. Highly recommended! ~ Gustavo e
